Sample Essay: Describing My Study Desk, Model Number 4
Since starting first grade, I've had a new companion: my dad's handmade study desk.
It's about a meter long, a third as wide, and stands 65-70 cm tall. Paired with it is a single chair, about 40 cm high, perfectly suited to the desk's height. Crafted from jackfruit wood, it's robust and rarely damaged. The whole desk is coated in a simple, earthy brown color. With four legs, it appears sturdy, placed by the window, providing a breezy, spacious atmosphere that makes studying comfortable. My desk has two compartments: one for books and stationery, and the other for my school bag. To add vibrancy, I've adorned it with a multi-colored paper flower vase, crafted by myself, placed at the left corner. Beside it are the 'Seeds of the Soul,' reference books I hold dear, neatly arranged next to the vase for easy access after study sessions.
I cherish this desk because it holds my dad's love for me. Thanks to it, I study more diligently. I promised my dad to take care of it meticulously so that I can use and bond with it for a long time.
