There is a silent, perpetual flow that never ceases: the flow of time. Within this current, we learn, work, play, and build the dreams of youth. Time, endless and enchanting, requires a steadfast companion to measure it accurately. That companion is the wristwatch, and our family's timepiece is charming and precise.

The wall clock in our living room is the reward I received after the first semester of this academic year. The school awarded a clock to the top student in the class, along with the principal's advice: 'I hope you will always value time. It's a secret to success.' So, I proudly brought the clock home to show my parents, and my father joyfully hung it in place of the old one bought a few years ago. He said to temporarily let the old clock rest and hang the new one to commend his studious daughter. I sat and admired the clock, a simple yet lovely timepiece. Circular in shape, with an outer border made of brown wood sculpted into regular waves, it looks beautiful. The patterns on the clock are exquisite, being polished with shiny brass, presenting a touch of elegance. Once the minute hand completes its rotation, the hour hand moves to a new number. The large black numbers on the clock face make it easy for me to read the time conveniently. And just like that, the rhythmic ticking sound, consistently resonating, and the clock's meticulous rotation allow me to perceive the flowing nature of time, intriguing and convenient at the same time.

From now on, the clock becomes a companion to our family, especially to me. It reminds us of school time, work time, break time...
