II. Sample Essay Describing the Neighborhood where I Reside on a Crisp Autumn Morning
'Cock-a-doodle-doo...', the rooster's crow signaled the break of dawn. After a long summer break, today I return to school with excitement and joy. Miraculously, as I swung open the door to welcome the early sunlight, I realized that autumn had arrived unnoticed.
The summer sun, which is usually high at this hour, has not yet shown its face. A gentle breeze makes me feel incredibly invigorated. The cool air, combined with a thin layer of mist, blankets the neighborhood beautifully! The two-story houses snugly nestled in grayish-white colors are still in slumber, and the trees lining the small street drip with dewdrops delicately. The sun, too, gradually wakes up, slowly releasing a soft light that envelops the natural scenery, awakening life in the neighborhood. On the street, students eagerly return to school with laughter echoing, teasing each other mischievously. Street vendors, bicycles, and motorcycles begin to appear, filling the neighborhood. In the distance, older folks are briskly walking, engaging in lively conversations while exercising. Nature is sparkling, brimming with vitality, awakening a new day in my neighborhood.
Admiring the scenery of the neighborhood in the early morning, my heart feels peaceful, and a sudden surge of emotion overwhelms my mind. I love the neighborhood where I live and cherish Vietnam even more.
