II. Writing a paragraph describing the scenery of my school in grade 5
1. Grade 5 Writing Exercise: Brief description of my school's scenery, sample 1 (Standard):
The five years spent under the roof of this school have made it difficult for me to leave this place. From the days of hesitating behind my mother's back, afraid to step into the school, to now facing the impending farewell to this elementary school.
The school environment and teachers are frequent topics in the assignments for 4th and 5th-grade essay writing. To craft compelling and emotional essays on the theme of the school environment, in addition to the sample essay describing my school scene introduced in today's lesson, students should not overlook other well-written essays from 5th graders such as: 'Describing my school before the class,' 'Describing the school scene after school hours,' 'Describing our beloved school,' and 'Describing a school labor session.'
2. Write a short paragraph describing your school scene, model 2 (Standard):
My school - Le Quy Don Elementary School takes pride in being a national standard school with a spacious campus and plenty of green, clean, and beautiful spaces. Below, I will guide you through my school.
Resembling a golden flower amidst lush green grass, the classrooms are painted in yellow and nestled under tall trees planted around the schoolyard. Whether it's the yellow elder, the purple bougainvillea, or the vibrant red phoenix flowers, all contribute to the vibrant and colorful beauty that embellishes the school environment. The classrooms remain quiet under the trees until the playtime bell rings, and then, from the classroom doors, students rush out to the playground, laughter echoing across the entire schoolyard. Our school has charming flower pots on each class balcony, and we diligently water and protect the beautiful, fragrant flowers. Walking around the school premises, you can read books or newspapers anywhere because library bookshelves are placed everywhere, in the corridors, under the trees. Hence, we often refer to this school as a 'Book Park.'
I cherish my school, love everything existing under this school roof, from the smallest things like those flowers to the significant ones like teachers and friends who have been with me for the past 5 years.
3. Describe your school scene, model 3 (Standard):
On the second Monday morning, sunlight cast interesting shadows of all shapes and sizes on the schoolyard through the branches. Sitting under the schoolyard during the flag-raising ceremony, I have the chance to admire my school.
My school exudes a serene and tranquil beauty, nestled in a spacious land with a small river winding around. Standing on the second-floor classroom, you can see the panoramic view of the schoolyard, rice fields, and the distant embankment. As an old village school, the paint on the walls has faded, moss has grown in some places, but our school is something to be proud of. The old concrete schoolyard bears the footprints of countless generations of students. The red brick stairs leading up to the long, narrow corridor still echo the lectures of teachers. The windows, despite being discolored, have been painted over many times, and the whimsical drawings on the desks all contribute to the nostalgic beauty of our school. However, amidst that space, there is a bright white uniform, and the vibrant red scarf draped over the shoulders of each student. During recess, some students play jump rope, hide and seek, kick the shuttlecock, or play the traditional board game, while others sit on stone benches reading stories.
