Sample: Description of my backpack, piece number 3
A backpack is an essential item for every student. It accompanies us throughout our school years, carrying our dreams and hopes. Perhaps that's why I cherish my backpack so much. Every day, carrying it on my shoulder, I feel mature. It's the backpack my older sister bought me at the beginning of third grade, during her internship in Da Lat.
Although it's been a year, it still looks quite new. The rectangular-shaped backpack stands about 60 cm tall, with a width of about 40 cm. It's a light purple color, my favorite. The edges are securely stitched, straight and neat with vibrant orange threads. The surface is adorned with adorable patterns, featuring Doraemon and Nobita walking hand in hand to school. Below, there's bold, clear text saying 'Try my best'. On both sides of the backpack, there are cute frog drawings.
The backpack has all the necessary compartments to fulfill specific functions. It has two large compartments and one small outer compartment. The largest one, the most spacious, is for textbooks, exercise books, and test papers. The middle compartment holds notebooks, pencil cases, craft paper, and other essentials. The small outer compartment is where hair ties, clips, sticky notes, and a small diary reside. Instead of a press-button flap, it uses a convenient and easy-to-use zipper. Each zipper has a small sunflower-shaped keychain attached. On both sides of the backpack are two white mesh pockets, perfect for carrying water bottles on hot summer days or a carton of milk when rushing to school. The backpack straps are made of large, soft fabric, padded for a comfortable and pleasant feeling on the shoulder.
My backpack has been by my side every step to school. It shares my joys, sorrows, and school memories. Whenever I receive low grades, looking at my beloved backpack, it seems to be saying to me, 'Hang in there, my little owner'. Even if I have newer backpacks in the future, I will always cherish and treasure it. Backpack, stay with me forever, alright!
