Nguyen Hue Flower Street for the Year of Nham Dan features the theme 'Homeland Spring, Warm Compassion,' capturing Saigon's revitalization after being the national pandemic epicenter for many years.
Designing Nguyen Hue Flower Street for Tet 2022 in Saigon
Nguyen Hue Flower Street for Tet 2022 in Saigon is divided into 3 segments: Into the Deep Forest – Fresh Green Nature, Spring of Meaningful Relationships – Proud of Vietnam, and To the Vast Sea – Gathering of Motherland. The flower street spans over 600 meters, using environmentally friendly materials such as metal, foam, bamboo, rattan, clay, mesh, ropes, etc., along with around 80 types of flowers, nearly 97,000 pots, and various flower baskets.

The mascot at the entrance of the 2022 flower street has been relocated to both sides, emphasizing the independent nature of the tiger, a species known for living and acting independently. The flower street also reproduces the image of the 'lord of the mountains,' standing at 4.6 meters tall, over 10 meters long, harmoniously combining toughened glass, acrylic, and moss, creating a subtle and striking effect of the tiger.

In the central triangular area, an image of a dense forest of tall trees is created by 51 tall loc vung trees ranging from 3-4 meters high, arranged in 5 zigzag rows. The rows gradually increase in length from the outside in, providing increased coverage, casting shadows over the area below, covering an area of over 250 square meters, just enough to recreate an almost real forest. All are designed and enclosed to ensure a 2-meter distance, allowing visitors to admire the paintings and check-in when visiting Nguyen Hue Flower Street in Saigon.

In addition to organizing Nguyen Hue Flower Street in 2022, the organizers have devised 4 operational plans for the flower street corresponding to the city's 4 pandemic levels. The plans are formulated regarding operational hours, disinfection periods, pandemic prevention measures on the flower street following the guidance of the Disease Control Center in Saigon, and the maximum number of visitors per visit based on each corresponding pandemic level.
