Even though TheShy assisted WBG in defeating IG in the LPL Summer 2022 opener, he remains subject to criticism from Uzi.
Just a few days ago, LPL Summer 2022 officially kicked off with the match between Weibo Gaming and Invictus Gaming. Despite facing some challenges in game 2, overall, WBG had a solid start and achieved their ultimate goal of victory. Additionally, SofM and his teammates demonstrated several innovative strategies compared to their performance in Spring 2022.
Especially, two players can be considered the major contributors to WBG's victory in this match, namely TheShy and Angel. While Angel has overcome his weakness with the champion Ahri back in Spring Season 2022, TheShy is proving quite effective with the champion Kayle. The resilience of the 'Top God' is further showcased as despite failing with Kayle in game 2, TheShy still opts for this champion in game 3 and performs significantly better.

However, despite shining in WBG's opening triumph against IG, TheShy still faces criticism. Specifically, during the stream of the match between WBG and IG, the legend Uzi also made some comments about the two teams. He particularly disagrees with TheShy's choice of Steelcaps for Kayle in game 3 despite having a considerable advantage at that time. According to Uzi, this playstyle is overly conservative and entirely unnecessary, especially when TheShy is clearly ahead of his opponent from IG.
Nevertheless, this level of certainty, perhaps according to TheShy, is necessary in a professional match. Because WBG lost the previous game, partly due to TheShy's Kayle being ganked too often. It's understandable that 'Shy ca' wants more certainty to ensure victory for WBG. And this is entirely understandable.

Uzi is accustomed to a playstyle supported by the entire team, thus, he can play a bit more aggressively if he feels he has the upper hand. However, TheShy doesn't always have that luxury, so his caution, especially in such an important opening match, is nothing overly harsh.
