Structure of Filmtec RO Membrane
Genuine DOW Filmtec RO water membrane is constructed from thin sheets of specially synthesized TFC poly material tightly bound and rolled together to form a spiral structure around a plastic core tube.
The mesh layer on the surface of the RO membrane has ultra-small gaps measuring only about 0.1 nanometers (just larger than a few water molecules) aiding in filtering out all solid particles, organic and inorganic compounds, arsenic, amoebas, harmful pesticides, and completely removing ultra-fine bacteria that are too small to be seen by the naked eye.
