Detailed guide on making flavorful shrimp-stuffed pork belly

Ingredients
200g pork belly
200g shrimp
1 purple onion
2-3 cloves of garlic
Seasoning: fish sauce, sugar, dark soy sauce, salt, pepper
Cooking Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the ingredients
– Clean and devein the shrimp, pat dry. Marinate shrimp with a pinch of salt or seasoning for extra flavor.
– While waiting for the seasoning to infuse into the shrimp, prepare the pork belly by cleaning and thinly slicing it.
– Peel and finely chop the onions and garlic.
– Soak the dark soy sauce to enhance the appearance of the shrimp and pork.

Step 2: Cooking Process
– Heat a teaspoon of cooking oil in a pan (since pork belly contains a lot of fat, you only need enough oil to sauté the onions and garlic).
– Once the oil is hot, add the chopped onions and garlic and sauté until fragrant. Then add the pork and stir-fry over high heat. When the pork is slightly firm, add the shrimp and stir-fry evenly.
– Once the shrimp turns red and slightly firm, add fish sauce and dark soy sauce, sugar, and stir well. If there is excess liquid from the shrimp and pork, drain some of it before continuing.
– Keep the heat high, stir constantly, and quickly coat the shrimp and pork with the seasoning until the liquid evaporates. At this point, the shrimp and pork will have a very attractive golden brown color.
That's it! You've completed the recipe for shrimp and pork stew. When serving, garnish with some chopped green onions mixed with shrimp and pork.
