Which Route to Take to Tà Xùa?
I journeyed to Tà Xùa by motorcycle. Starting from Hanoi, take Highway 32 towards Nhổn, then head to Sơn Tây town, crossing Trung Hà Bridge and passing through Thanh Sơn and Thu Cúc. At the Thu Cúc intersection, go towards Phù Yên, then you'll reach Bắc Yên. From Bắc Yên, it's about 15km to Tà Xùa. There's a checkpoint at Đu Lau in Phù Yên. If you're from a green or orange zone, just scan the QR code and you'll pass through quickly. No need for tests or documents, but remember to still adhere to the 5K guidelines.

Where to Stay?
Tà Xùa currently offers many homestay options with various price ranges and room types, from dormitories, partitioned floor houses, private rooms to bungalows. I opted to book a room at Pơ Mu homestay. This homestay boasts the highest location in the town center, situated on the route to Windy Peak. The rooms are clean, designed in a simple wooden house style with a communal floor house and campfire area. Just step out into the yard and you can admire the sea of clouds. I stayed in a bungalow which costs 600k and can accommodate 2-3 people.

Additionally, the hostess is very friendly, and you can also order food here at very affordable prices. The menu includes grilled dishes, chicken hotpot, fish hotpot, beef hotpot, and I found the boiled innards dish to be very delicious as well. Depending on your travel purpose, you can also choose other homestays with beautiful views such as Windy Peak, Y Xoa homestay, or Tà Xùa Lu Trế…
What to Eat?
We wandered around before finally choosing May Restaurant for dinner. They offer a variety of grilled and hotpot dishes, but we opted for a mixed hotpot with chicken, beef, sausages, etc., priced around 350k-400k for 2 people, leaving us fully satisfied. With the chilly weather, we enjoyed grilling outdoors by the charcoal stove, savoring the hot and delicious meat.
WHAT TO DO IN TÀ XÙA?
When in Tà Xùa, you must experience cloud hunting, witnessing the white sea of clouds floating gracefully in the valleys. Drive up to Windy Peak with a cup of coffee and some breakfast snacks, wait for the mist to pass, and you'll see the sea of clouds right before your eyes. My tip is to be patient and wait for it to unveil.

Afterwards, we checked in at Sống Lưng Khủng Long, located 15km from the town, offering stunning views for some epic photos. However, the road is a bit rough and challenging, so be cautious when traveling. Additionally, we visited the Lonely Tree and Dolphin Rock along the route, Thào coffee, Thảo Nguyên Tà Xùa; just search on Google Maps to find them.

COST:
Excluding transportation costs, the total expense came to around 500-700k per person.
Important Note:
– It's not convenient for vehicles if you plan to take a bus.
– Going in a group, arriving at night, lighting a campfire to grill food, singing and stargazing or watching the night clouds by the river is extremely relaxing.
Wishing you all a wonderful experience in Tà Xùa with beautiful photos!
