A gentle review of my 3 days 2 nights trip to Sông Cầu - Phú Yên. I spent a lot of time at the beach, so my skin got quite tanned, hence I only visited a few selected places.
Detailed review of my 3 days 2 nights trip to Phú Yên
1. Dining in Phú Yên:
- Thành Tâm's chive cake: 53 Điện Biên Phủ. 20k/1 bowl, the noodles are uniquely delicious, I had breakfast here both mornings, so you know it's good.
- Aunt Mai's sun-grilled beef - 350 Trần Hưng Đạo. They specialize in beef and ocean tuna eyes, they also serve delicious fresh tuna sashimi. I went on a rainy day and the place was still crowded, mostly locals dining in.
- Dong sausage at 92 Nguyễn Công Trứ
- Mussel porridge at 363 Lê Lợi
- Super cute coffee shop: A bit of sunshine, a bit of breeze, a bit of grass scent in the clouds

- Sizzling pancake near Hafaza Hotel
- Mai fish salad at Mười Xí
- Grilled chicken at Năm An Restaurant
- Bluesea Coffee: Get High Lemon Tea

From SG to PY, there are various means of transportation: airplanes, buses, trains..
Buses: There are many types of buses, from regular to Limousine that take about 10 hours,
Airplanes: I snagged a good deal at 1.6 million VND per person.
Renting a motorbike in PY costs 150k/day, the Lead scooter has a spacious trunk for belongings

- Morning: Visited the Nghinh Phong Tower right in the center, inspired by the iconic rock formations of the region and the legend of “A Hundred Eggs, A Hundred Children” of Lạc Long Quân and Âu Cơ. I went at around 7:30 am so it was quite empty, perfect for taking photos without any crowds.
- Bãi Xép – Film set of Yellow Flowers on Green Grass (12km from the city center). Entrance fee: 20k/person.
- Afternoon: Điện Cape (34km from the city center). This is the place to catch the first sunrise in Vietnam. The mountainous road to Điện Cape offers stunning views of the blue sea on one side and mountains on the other, truly breathtaking. Entrance fee: 20k/person, parking fee: 5k.
*Note: Climbing the stairs here is quite far and exhausting, so it's worth spending 100k/round trip/person to take a motorbike ride to the lighthouse, don't regret it later.

Getting around by motorbike or taking a taxi costs around 500k/one way, bus fare is around 45k/person. Since we explored lightly on day 1, we spent day 2 at Quê Tôi Village, priced at 2.1 million VND/night. Highly recommend staying here, the villa has a sea view overlooking Xuân Đài Bay, it's peaceful and beautiful. Overall, loved everything from the villa to the staff.
Lunch: Had lunch at the villa, it was quite good.
Dinner: At 6 pm, we drove to Quy Nhơn city (45km) for dinner and visited the Suft bar Quy Nhơn (drinks menu around 40-50k).

I'll spend the remaining day at Quê Tôi to indulge a bit before heading back.
On the way from Tuy Hoà City to Sông Cầu, you'll come across Bằng Lăng Church, Mr. Tiger Bridge. Near Quê Tôi, there's Rạng Beach, Từ Nham Beach, White Sand Dunes at Từ Nham, Nhất Tự Sơn Island (with a road in the middle of the sea like Điệp Sơn), Xuân Đài Bay… give them a visit, folks!
