How to Acquire Violet?
Upon logging into the game, players will immediately notice the notification 'Claim Free Violet.' Simply click on it, and you'll be directed to the Activities section. If accidentally dismissed, you can access Activities in the top right corner > Claim New Hero.
Here, players will encounter 7 main challenges. Each challenge will present different requirements, compelling you to complete them. Upon completion, players will receive Violet character shards according to the progression: 25 - 50 - 75 - 100 - 125 - 150 - 175. Upon full completion, you'll have 50 shards and unlock the Violet character.
These challenges will unlock at fixed server times. Thus, players can't 'rush' the process no matter how hard they try. Hence, everyone will possess this character at the same time.
Advantages
As mentioned, Violet serves as one of the team's primary DPS. This character can inflict tremendous damage as soon as she enters the battlefield with her skillset.
The Ready Set Go skill enhances her agility in combat, making it easier for her to maneuver, evade, and escape enemy attacks.
On her second activation, Violet unleashes a powerful Armor-Piercing Bullet, capable of piercing through armor, dealing devastating damage to enemies, especially Bosses.
Due to her slow firing rate, Violet struggles with clearing infantry. Fortunately, her Energy Charge ability allows her to stockpile a Grenade, dealing area damage.
Her ultimate ability, Heavy Armor Fire, is a terrifying nightmare for Bosses. When activated, Violet can unleash a barrage of Artillery shells, dealing damage over a large area. Besides clearing infantry, it's also used to stack damage on Bosses, especially the larger ones. As they can absorb all these shells and lose a significant amount of HP.
Weakness
Despite her numerous advantages, Violet still has a minor limitation in her slow firing rate, leading to some difficulty in clearing infantry in the early stages. However, you can easily fill this gap by pairing her with a character using a Machine Gun (in team battles) or simply by assembling a full team of Rifles, Bazookas, Flamethrowers, or Ice Guns (in solo play). Let Violet fulfill her role as a damage dealer.
Team Composition Tips
As mentioned above, it's not advisable to use Violet throughout the entire match due to her slow infantry clearing capability. Instead, consider adding a character using a Machine Gun (like Marco) or Flamethrower to handle the early waves.
The first character you should have in your lineup is a support hero capable of healing, with Nadia being the priority here. Nadia's ultimate in Fat form can continuously heal characters within range. Moreover, this effect can persist even when you switch characters. Nadia will ensure Violet's survivability, allowing her more opportunities to shine in battles.
The friendly special forces kangaroo, Gru Kang, would be an excellent choice to boost Violet's firing rate. When the Battle Ring skill is activated, you can switch to Violet and stand within it to receive up to 20% armor penetration, optimizing damage output in one skill activation. Additionally, equipped with a flamethrower, Gru Kang makes clearing infantry much easier.
