Detailed Technical Specifications Revealed for Galaxy Tab S9, Tab S9+, and Tab S9 Ultra

Today, renowned leaker Ishan Agarwal shared the key technical specifications of the S9 series.

Specifically, sources today revealed that the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus and will have dimensions of 254.8 x 165.8 x 5.9 mm, 285.4 x 185 x 5.7 mm, and 326.4 x 208.6 x 5.5 mm respectively. These three tablets will feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with different sizes, 11 inches, 12.4 inches, and 14.6 inches respectively.

The upcoming Galaxy Tab S9 is poised to deliver a stunning resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels, while the Galaxy Tab S9 Plus will boast a resolution of 2,800 x 1,848 pixels. Finally, the Tab S9 Ultra will support an impressive 2,960 x 1,898 pixel resolution. These devices are expected to come pre-installed with Android 13 OS featuring the One UI 5.1.1 user interface upon launch.

Internally, Samsung's Tab S9 series will utilize the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy SoC. The standard and 'Plus' variants will sport 12GB of RAM and storage options of 256GB or 512GB. The premium 'Ultra' model will emerge with a whopping 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage capacity.

The Galaxy Tab S9 will house an 8,400mAh battery, while the Tab S9+ will feature a larger 10,090mAh battery, and the Tab S9 Ultra will boast an impressive 11,200mAh battery. The entire product lineup is expected to support fast charging up to 45W.

In terms of photography capabilities, the Galaxy Tab S9 and Tab S9 Plus will feature a 12-megapixel front camera. The Tab S9 will be equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera, while the Tab S9 Plus will sport a dual rear camera system comprising of 13 megapixels + 8 megapixels. The Tab S9 Ultra will feature a dual 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel selfie camera setup, along with a rear camera system consisting of 13 megapixels + 8 megapixels. Leaks also suggest that Samsung's upcoming premium tablets will include four speakers, support for the S-Pen stylus, and an IP68 water and dust resistance rating.
