Release Date of Free Fire OB28 Update

The upcoming OB28 update of Free Fire, also known as the June 2021 FF update, is expected to be released on June 8, 2021. Currently, there is no official announcement from Garena developers. Discovering Free Fire OB28: Details of the update and new changes

1. New character Snowelle
Snowelle is a researcher in the nano technology and robotics laboratory. She will be the female character in the game and was first introduced in the Advanced Server in the OB25 update but has yet to make an appearance in the game. Therefore, with the OB28 update, we can expect to see this character in action.

Similar to other Free Fire characters, she also has a special ability. Her special ability is called 'Nano Nerves' and is a Passive skill. Her special skill prevents enemies from using Active skills, stopping them from converting EP to HP (health), applicable only to those hit by her.
- Nano Nerves Level 1: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 45s.
- Nano Nerves Level 2: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 42s.
- Nano Nerves Level 3: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 39.
- Nano Nerves Level 4: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 36s.
- Nano Nerves Level 5: Within 5s of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 33.
- Nano Nerves Level 6: Within 5 seconds of being hit by Snowelle, the enemy cannot use Active skills, unable to convert EP to HP. CD 30s.

2. New character Sverr
Sverr is a top MMA fighter and comes to the Free Fire OB28 update as a male character. This character was first discovered in an introductory video released by Garena. Subsequently, it was provided as a playable character in the Advanced Server OB24 test server. However, he has not yet made it into the game, so we can expect him to appear after the Free Fire OB28 update.

Sverr comes with an Active skill called 'Fury,' Sverr's special ability increases the damage enemies have to endure as his HP decreases. At level 1, it consumes 40 HP to increase damage by 10%, and the amount increases as you level up the character.

3. New assistant

5. New Mechanism - Burn from Inside the Vehicle
Similar to other games in the same genre, Free Fire will also introduce the feature of shooting enemies from inside vehicles. Now, it will be thrilling to engage in combat like mobsters in Free Fire. Garena has also revealed this new mechanism in one of the recent trailers.

6. New Scooter Vehicle
In one of the recent trailers released by Garena, Free Fire's new character Shirou can be seen riding a Scooter. It is expected to be introduced as a new vehicle in the Free Fire OB28 update.

7. New Wichita MK40 Pistol
The Wichita MK-40 is a specialized handgun with a more specific designation, known as the Silhouette pistol as it is primarily designed for competitions following the rules of the International Handgun Metallic Silhouette Association. There is no reason why this handgun wouldn't become a formidable weapon in Free Fire OB28, equipped with suitable scopes.

8. Boat - Water Transportation
To traverse water areas, Free Fire will have an additional vehicle in the OB28 update. According to leaks, the new vehicle will be a boat and it will only be available on the Desert Island and Paradise Island maps. The reason for not introducing it on the Military Island is the smaller water area, making it an inappropriate addition to this map.
