As the World Dragon Championship draws near, signaling the end of TFT Season 7, the 12.21 update will be one of the final updates for TFT Season 7, and Riot will not make any significant changes.

1. When will TFT 12.21 be released?
The expected release date for TFT version 12.21 is Wednesday, November 2, 2022. The servers will be shut down around 5 AM local time and will reopen at 8 AM. The Oceania region will be the first to receive the update, with other regions following suit one day later.
2. What's New in TFT 12.21?
In recent power boosts, Xayah and Nunu have been favored. Despite Lux receiving damage restitution for her abilities, these two champions are getting new power boosts.
On the flip side, Karma takes the spotlight in the list of champions losing power this time, with reduced ability damage at all levels.
Munchkin Sorcerer, along with Lulu, will receive a slight power boost, while Soraka's abilities will be updated to accurately display the star count each time the skill is used.
Divine dragon upgrades like Separate Paths and Heating Up are also getting minor adjustments, specifically:
- Separate Paths will now have more health at all levels, while Heating Up will have reduced power at all levels.
- Bedlam will now be harder to activate, requiring only 2 champions instead of the previous 3.
In terms of equipment, Radiant items will undergo significant changes, with Eternal Bow and Statikk Electric Knife gaining strength, while Hurricane Runaan and Guardian's Vow will experience a considerable power reduction.

3.1. Changes to Champions
1-cost Champions:
Karma
- Ability damage reduced: 210/280/400 ⇒ 200/265/380.
2-cost Champions:
Lux
- Changes will be applied from patch 12.20.
- Damage to the first target increased: 325/400/500 ⇒ 325/410/525.
- Damage to subsequent targets increased: 175/200/230 ⇒ 175/210/240.
3-cost Champions:
Lulu:
- Number of targets increased: 2 ⇒ 3.
Nunu & Willump:
- Devour damage increased: 350/500/925 ⇒ 375/525/925.
- Enhanced Devour damage boost increased: 40% ⇒ 50%.
4-cost Champions:
Xayah
- Ability damage ratio increased: 18/18/18% ⇒ 20/20/30% .
5-cost Champions:
Soraka
- Ability will now display the exact number of stars each time it is cast.
3.2. Changes to Traits
Cannonier
- Marksman bullet damage increased: 150/275/450% ⇒ 150/300/500% of total attack damage.
Dragon God Upgrades:
Separate Paths I/II/III
- Additional health at level 1: 200/250/300/350 ⇒ 250/300/350/400.
- Additional health at level 2: 250/325/400/475 ⇒ 300/375/450/525.
- Additional health at level 3: 300/400/500/600 ⇒ 350/450/550/650.
Bedlam
- Units received: 3 ⇒ 2.
Heating Up I/II/III
- Attack damage and ability power per stack: 4/5/8 ⇒ 3/4/7.
Cosmic Defender
- Armor per component: 30 ⇒ 35.

Cleansing Strand (Redemption)
- Healing: 18% of missing health ⇒ 22% of missing health.
Guardian Covenant (Light's Vow)
- Shield duration: 4 ⇒ 3 seconds.
- Bonus armor and magic resistance: 35 ⇒ 30.
Eternal Bow (Light's Bow)
- Bonus attack speed: 25% ⇒ 35%.
Needlework Cloak (Quicksilver Sash Light)
- Bonus attack speed: 50% ⇒ 60%.
Hurricane Runaan (Light's Runaan's Hurricane)
- Chain lightning damage: 120% ⇒ 110 total physical damage.
Statikk Electric Knife (Light's Statikk Shiv)
- Bonus attack speed: 10% ⇒ 30%.
Sunfire Cape (Light's Sunfire Cape)
- Additional health: 300 ⇒ 200.
3.4. Bug Fixes
- Thornmail Light now blocks all critical damage instead of 75%.
- Fixed an issue with Zz'Rot Path and Zz'Rot Portal not taunting enemies.
- Upgrading champions with only the initial Heating Up stacks will now grant one additional Heating Up stack.
- Celestial Orb now applies healing to the owner.
