Muting Autoplay Sounds on Chrome, Firefox, and Cốc Cốc Browsers
1. On Google Chrome.
Mute Chrome tabs by downloading the Mute Tab extension and follow our guide to automatically silence tabs detecting sound.
Step 1: Download Mute Tab from here
Select Add to Chrome.
Step 2: After successfully adding the extension, the Mute Tab icon will appear in the browser corner.
Step 3: Click on the Mute Tab icon to silence sound. You can choose:

2. On Firefox.
Unlike Chrome, to mute Firefox tabs, you need to access Firefox settings in the browser. Follow the instructions below to automatically mute Firefox tabs.
Step 1: Enter about:config in the URL bar.
Click I accept the risk! to access Firefox utilities.
Step 2: Find the media.autoplay.enabled extension and right-click to select Toogle.
Step 3: Click on Value to switch from True to False.
