- Since the water is very hot, it's advisable to wear gloves and use long tongs to place the crabs into the pot.
- During the boiling process, avoid opening the lid too often. While boiling crabs, many people might be eager to check the doneness of the crabs. However, opening the lid frequently can change the temperature inside the pot, resulting in uneven cooking of the crabs. Additionally, the essential oils from lemongrass and ginger in the pot might evaporate without fully infusing into the crabs.
