Legend of Ba Den Mountain
There are 2 legends about Ba Den Mountain that you will hear when traveling to Tay Ninh. The first story revolves around the history of the Trinh Nguyen period, while the other legend is about the local history. However, both legends share a common theme: a girl who refused an arranged marriage and fled to the mountain to become a nun, but unfortunately died on the way. Eventually, a shrine was erected by the court to honor her memory, and the local people now worship her there.
