South Korea also boasts flea markets akin to those in Vietnam, with an abundance of beautiful and adorable items.
1. Hondae Flea Market

Unlike typical flea markets, Hondae Flea Market showcases handmade products by young South Koreans. Visitors can discover unique handcrafted items such as traditional Korean hair ties priced at 8,000 won or intricately decorated handbags.
However, the market only operates from 1 PM to 6 PM every Saturday from March to November in the Hongdae area near Hongik University.
2. Philippine Market in Daehangno
Open from 12 PM to 5 PM every Sunday, the Philippine Market is a vibrant trading hub for the Filipino community in Daehangno. Visitors can purchase products from the Philippines and enjoy tasty snacks such as fried bananas for 1,000 won or buy 3 mangoes for 5,000 won. The market is situated in front of Dongseong Middle School and High School in Daehangno.

3. Saturday Flea Market in Seocho
As its name suggests, this market opens only on Saturdays from 9 AM to 3 PM. It is the largest flea market in South Korea located in the Bangbae 2-dong area. Here, visitors can freely choose from a variety of inexpensive second-hand items such as clothes, electronics, or household items. One downside of this market is the absence of food stalls, so after shopping, you can visit Yangjae Market (opposite Seocho Market) or Gangnam to enjoy some food.

4. Yongsan Flea Market
Situated between Seonun Sangga and Najin Sangga, Yongsan Flea Market opens weekly from 10 AM to 7 PM. This market is renowned for computer components and related products such as mice, keyboards, sound cards, or even computers, all at significantly lower prices than the market. However, please note that this market closes on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month.

5. Gwanghwamun Flea Market

Gwanghwanmun Flea Market, although small in size, manages to captivate tourists. Situated along the path to Gyeongbokgung Palace, this market offers a variety of clothing and charming trinkets. Operating from 11 AM to 4 PM every Saturday, vendors can also register to sell their goods for a nominal fee of 2,000 won.
