1. Decline unnecessary requests
Some websites may request access to your personal data such as location, microphone access,... If not essential, it's advisable to decline such requests.

2. Modify privacy-related options
To modify privacy settings, type chrome://settings/privacy into the address bar, then press Enter. Here, you can review settings like Cookies, Site Settings,... This can help limit data collection from Google. The best practice is to clear browsing history. To do so, go to Privacy and Security > Clear browsing data > Clear data.

3. Log out of your Google account while browsing the web
A fairly simple way to avoid personal data collection is to log out of your Google account while browsing the web on your computer.
