The spring is named Elephant Spring because there is a rock that looks exactly like an elephant with its trunk drinking water at the foot of the waterfall. There is also a water pond named Elephant Pond, a natural bathing pool about 30 m2 wide, over 2 m deep, situated between two waterfalls. The cool, clear water allows visibility to the bottom.

About 1 km upstream from here is Da Bang Spring. At the head of the Da Bang waterfall, visitors can freely explore nature, then go fishing for carp, pick giang leaves to cook sour soup, or boil watercress dipped in anchovy fish sauce.
