In 2011, commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Sea Trail, the Numberless Ship 235 site on Hon Heo was awarded the title of a provincial-level historical and cultural relic by the Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee. On May 5, 2014, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognized the Numberless Ship 235 site on Hon Heo as a national-level historical site.
