Khoun Kong Leng Lake
The lake lies 30 kilometers north of Thakhaek town in Khammuane province, boasting water as blue and clear as crystal. Originating from underground streams filtered through layers of limestone surrounding the mountains, the lake offers a serene retreat. Visitors are permitted to swim and dive near the suspension bridge area. Additionally, one can enjoy a leisurely stroll along the jungle trail.


That Luang Stupa

Kuang Si Waterfalls

Situated about 30km from Phon Sa Vanh town, the administrative center of Xieng Khoang province, the Chum Fields lie on a vast plain spanning dozens of hectares. Discovered by scientists over a century ago, the origins and purposes of these chums remain a mystery.


Tham Khoun Xe Cave
Tham Khoun Xe, also known as Xe Bang Fai Cave, is a large river cave located in Khammouane province in central Laos. Discovered by a group of French explorers in 1905.

According to the expedition's report, Tham Khoun Xe Cave is an underground section of the Xe Bang Fai River, one of the largest river caves in the world, with enormous chambers reaching heights of 120 meters, widths of 200 meters, and featuring impressive geological formations.

Within the cave, there is a thriving green forest near the cave entrance, where the vibrant green of the forest contrasts with the white and orange hues of the terraced fields, creating unique and delicate color patterns on the limestone walls.

Si Phan Don Archipelago
Si Phan Don, meaning 'Four Thousand Islands' in Lao, is a must-visit destination for any traveler exploring the Land of a Million Elephants. The Mekong River widens to nearly 14 kilometers in this area, featuring around 4,000 large and small islands locally known as 'Cohn.' Si Phan Don offers travelers a captivating aquatic landscape.


Upon arrival, you'll undoubtedly want to spend a full 24 hours exploring either by four-wheel vehicle or paddling downstream, marveling at the rare and precious pink Irrawaddy dolphins. Afterwards, you can relax in a hammock while enjoying the renowned Lao beer.
Wat Phu Temple
Champasak's most iconic cultural landmark is the magnificent Wat Phu Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Located approximately 40km south of Pakse along the Mekong River, Wat Phu is a complex of stone temples and a remarkable architectural feat, constructed over centuries from the 9th to the 13th century. It is considered one of the holiest temples of ancient dynasties in this region.



Wat Phu showcases Hindu architectural style, dedicated to the worship of Lord Shiva. This architectural style is considered closely related to the neighboring country Cambodia's UNESCO World Heritage Site, Angkor Wat.
Pak Ou Cave


Pak Ou Cave is located north of Luang Prabang, along the Mekong River basin, making it accessible by road or waterway. The cave is renowned for its sculptures of the Buddha, although many of these sculptures have been damaged. Nevertheless, the surrounding scenery of the cave is truly worth exploring.
