Zalo is currently hailed as the leading messaging and calling app in Vietnam. Learn how to utilize its features seamlessly on both mobile and laptop platforms.
1. Pin Conversations to the Top
This feature allows users to quickly locate and access their most frequently used conversations by pinning them to the top for easy visibility and access.
Click on the ellipsis icon > Pin Conversation.
Now you can pin conversations for convenient communication whenever needed!
2. Conversation Sorting Feature
Easily identify and organize your conversations with the Sorting feature.
Click on the ellipsis icon as before in the conversation you want to categorize. Sort > Select sorting
3. Turn off Conversation Notifications
The conversation mute feature helps reduce distractions from less important conversations.
Right-click on the conversation you want to mute > Mute conversation > Choose mute duration.
4. Set Memorable Nicknames for Friends
This feature lets you set unique nicknames for close friends and loved ones, making it easier to identify them among your Zalo contacts.
Click on the pencil icon next to the name you want to set a nickname for, enter the name, and press the Confirm button to finish.
5. Delete Conversation
You can also delete previous conversations to ensure the safety of your information on your Zalo account.
Right-click on the conversation you want to delete and press Delete conversation.
6. View Conversation Information
You can access an overview of all relevant information regarding your past conversations. Information you can view includes:
- Reminder lists
- Links sent within the group
- Files shared within the group
- Photos/Videos
- Common groups
- Create a group with this person
- Other settings
7. View and share images, files, and links on your computer
Where are Zalo files stored on your computer? You can view and copy photos, files, and links sent on Zalo on your computer to share with others.
Photos/Videos
Right-click on Photos/Videos in the conversation to access options such as:
- Copy
- Share
- Send to my Cloud
- View original message
- Show in folder
Files
By right-clicking on Files in the conversation, you can perform actions such as:
- Open document
- Share
- Send to my Cloud
- View original message
- Show in folder
Link
Right-click on the link to:
- Copy
- Share
- Send to my Cloud
- View original message
- Open in browser
8. Additional Features of Group Chats on Zalo for PC
Group Chat Information
You can view some information related to your chat groups on Zalo:
- Group members
- Group feed
- Photos/Videos
- Files
- Links
- Other settings
By clicking on the icon next to the call icon, you can access group information!
Add more members to the group
Feature to assist you in adding new members to your Zalo group.
View members > Add members.
Leave group
You can also leave groups on Zalo PC.
Navigate to the group information section and click on the Leave Group button.
