I once asked all my friends in Quang Ninh about the best place to eat seafood, and 99% of them answered with one name: 'Hồng Hạnh.' It's like Hồng Hạnh is a culinary ideology of this coastal region. Hồng Hạnh restaurant has 6 branches in Quang Ninh. This time, we chose Hồng Hạnh 2 at 30 Hải Phượng, Hồng Hải, Ha Long City, about 2km from Bãi Cháy Bridge and less than a 5-minute drive from Bãi Cháy Beach.

With spacious and airy ambiance, Hồng Hạnh restaurant offers diners a unique culinary space, decorated in traditional Vietnamese style. Both outside and inside are adorned with fresh flowers, looking very pleasing to the eye.

The most attractive feature of Hồng Hạnh must be the world of fresh and premium seafood, caught and processed on the same day. From squid to expensive fish varieties, all are served here... For this meal, we ordered dishes like Steamed Clams with Lemongrass, Stir-fried Seafood with Pumpkin, Grilled Fish in Wild Betel Leaf, Tomato-based Crab Hot Pot with Fresh Vegetables, Fish Soup, and Sun-dried Tuna. Truly, each dish is outstanding. Perhaps the most impressive is the seemingly simple but incredibly delicious 'Tomato Crab Hot Pot.' Oh, those plump and clean crabs, paired with fresh and slightly sweet tomatoes, dipped with crisp vegetables—truly a salvation for the scorching summer!

In terms of food, it's also a 9 out of 10 like Hồng Hạnh, but there are certain dishes you must try: Baked cheese oysters, Raw shrimp salad, and Mixed beef hotpot. Fresh, clean oysters, each plump and flavorful, cooked to perfection with creamy cheese. And especially the signature dish, raw shrimp salad, with unexpectedly spicy green sauce. Finally, conclude the sumptuous feast with a pot of mixed beef hotpot seasoned to perfection.

The spicy and sour shrimp salad is the 'secret weapon' of Talata. If you come to Talata and haven't tried this dish, it's a real omission. This shrimp salad requires first and foremost fresh shrimp, which is then harmoniously blended with a rich, spicy, and refreshing sauce. Additionally, the dish features crispy fried shrimp heads served with chili sauce.

Entering a seafood restaurant and ordering beef hotpot might sound peculiar, right? But this is the owner's suggestion, and looking at the beautifully arranged, tempting pot, it's nothing but mesmerizing!
