Similar to Instagram, Threads allows you to set your account to private if you prefer not to have too many followers. If you're new to the app and unsure how to activate this setting, follow along as I guide you through activating private mode on Threads using your phone.
Activate Private Profile on Threads
Step 1: During registration, there's an option to choose your account mode as public or private. If you missed it or selected public, now, to switch your profile from public to private, simply tap on the profile icon at the end of the navigation bar. Then, look up to the top right of the screen; there's a menu icon with two dashes, tap on it.

Step 2: Right after being redirected to the app's settings interface, navigate to the Privacy section. Here, you'll find a subcategory called Private Profile and activation switch. Just slide that switch to the right and confirm the change with the OK button. That's it.

Wishing you an incredible user experience with this app. If you have any questions or difficulties, let me know in the comments below. Don't forget to share the post if you find it helpful. Thank you for reading.
