When traveling to Nha Trang, tourists will explore pristine mountainous areas with many beautiful natural landscapes, especially stunning waterfalls. During the journey to Nha Trang, make sure to visit the top 3 most beautiful waterfalls here.
Ta Gu Waterfall
The first destination of the journey to Nha Trang to explore waterfalls is Ta Gu Waterfall, also known as Elephant Tusk Waterfall, closely associated with the Raglai ethnic group. This waterfall is located in Son Hiep commune, Khanh Son district. Travelers can start from Cam Ranh and follow provincial road 9, crossing Khanh Son Pass about 40km to reach To Hap town, then continue for another stretch to reach Ta Gu Waterfall.

The majestic waterfall stands approximately 40 meters tall, its cascades originating from the Chalo mountain peak, towering over the cliff resembling ivory tusks. Tà Gụ waterfall is acclaimed as the most exquisite in this region for its tranquil flow, devoid of clamor or tumult. From afar, Tà Gụ cascade pours down serenely like silky strands of cloud, imbued with a hint of melancholy akin to two teardrops, echoing the ancient legend of the Raglai people.

Untouched by human hands, Tà Gụ waterfall retains its pristine natural allure. The descent to its foot is arduous and filled with challenges, making this place ideal for adventurous travelers seeking thrills.
Mau Spring Waterfall
Nestled within Khánh Vĩnh district, Mau Spring Waterfall emerges as a picturesque and romantic Nha Trang tourist destination. Located approximately 6 km from the newly opened intersection between Khánh Lê and Đà Lạt routes, and 59.5 km from Nha Trang, this spot is hailed as the 'premier waterfall' and a popular haunt for local youths and daring travelers keen on exploration and adventure.

Rising approximately 700 – 800m above sea level, with a column of water towering around 30m high, Mau Spring Waterfall is divided into 4 tiers, with clear blue ponds of varying depths nestled between them, embraced by towering rock walls. Among these, there is a spacious 150m2 pool where visitors can freely swim and frolic.
Lining the sides of the waterfall are expansive rock platforms large enough for a group of up to 30 people to enjoy outdoor activities. Surrounding the rock walls are parasitic plants with round, decorative leaves, adorned with lush green moss.

The abundant flow of water cascading down the waterfall, even during the dry season, sustains a rich and diverse ecosystem of vegetation, thriving year-round.
Orchid Stream
The next stop on the journey to Nha Trang is Orchid Stream, also known as Hermit Stream, located on Hon Heo Island, approximately 30km northeast of Nha Trang.
On Hon Heo Island, there are several waterfalls, with the tallest reaching up to 250 – 300m. All the water from these cascades flows into Orchid Stream before emptying into Nha Phu lagoon.
Along the stream, various types of forest trees intertwine, forming layers, and are especially prominent with numerous orchid flowers.

The area of Orchid Stream not only boasts stunning scenery but also preserves traces of the Cham people from ancient times. Carved deeply into the rock at the foot of the stream, ancient Cham script remains intact, commemorating a Cham king's pilgrimage to Orchid Stream. Orchid Stream also served as a revolutionary base during two resistance movements against the French and the Americans.

The journey from the sea to the forest in Nha Trang to explore the truly captivating pristine waterfalls is irresistible to visitors.
