Delve into the rich heritage of scholarly reverence in Tam Ky: Visit the Van Thanh - Confucius Temple heritage site

Having endured wars and the ravages of time, the Van Mieu area fell into disrepair. In 1963, responding to the local community's wishes, the site was relocated about 2 km southward, now known as the new heritage site. Reconstruction, completed by June 1970, restored the main temple, bell tower, and drum tower. Following the complete liberation of the South, the site was officially named Van Thanh - Confucius Temple heritage site.

Tourists visiting Tam Ky can admire the Van Thanh - Confucius Temple heritage site, featuring four pillars constructed of clay bricks, intricately adorned with square motifs. The tops of the two tallest pillars resemble blooming lotus flowers, akin to two writing brushes against the backdrop of the azure sky. The auxiliary pillars display stylized mythical creatures. The central main pillars boast four lower and four upper eaves, adorned with intricate floral motifs and embossed patterns crafted from porcelain.
