Opting for Google's app is the go-to choice for those with a busy schedule when it comes to listening to news on iPhone and iPad.
Google continues to integrate more features to meet user needs, and artificial intelligence (AI) is also applied. Google possesses a rich dataset of text/audio content, leveraging it to develop its ecosystem. Previously, reading content meant viewing it on your phone, but now you can listen to the content with the voice of 'Miss Google.' This new feature on Google not only helps you stay updated while busy but also allows you to hear the news while driving or working privately. In this article, Software Tips will guide you on how to listen to news on iPhone and iPad using the Google app.
Step 1: Download the Google app to your iPhone and iPad via the AppStore.
Step 2: On the Google app, you'll find a variety of different articles, or you can also input content into the Google search bar to discover the desired material to listen to.
Once you've selected the content you want to view, it will open as a web page, similar to a regular news article.
Step 3: To listen to the news, click on the Speak icon at the top right corner of the screen to hear the content within the article. The Speak feature is now 100% compatible with all web pages, as long as they contain textual content.
Step 4: In the Read Aloud settings, you can choose Listen Now or select Add to Queue to listen later.
If you choose Listen Now, Google will proceed to read the entire content on the web page (including only the text portion).
Step 5: You can also customize various settings through the Options icon next to the Read section. Here, you can adjust the Reading Speed to different levels for the most suitable experience.
Step 6: In case you want to add more content to the list for listening, repeat the above steps but choose Add to Queue.
Step 7: The order of reading article content will go from top to bottom, with the first articles being read first, and once finished, it moves on to the next one.
Additionally, you can choose Share to send the read article to your friends for a collective listening experience.
