Locate your friends' positions with Facebook and Zalo
To determine the location of your friends on Facebook or identify their location on Zalo, you'll need to use third-party applications for searching. Currently, both of these social networking applications do not integrate the function of locating friends due to the terms, regulations, and personal privacy rights of each user when using the application.
Step 1: Access the location tracking support address for friends' positions HERE.
Step 2: After successfully accessing this address, we will click the three horizontal lines icon and choose Register to create an account on this website.
Step 3: Now, you will sequentially input the required information on the website, such as username, password, email, and choose Register to sign up for an account. A notification will appear on the screen that this account registration process will require activation via Email that you used for registration.
- Access the email inbox as shown below, we will search for and select the email sent from Grabify, as well as click on the link line to activate the account.
- Upon successful activation, we will receive a notification Your Account has now been activated. And you can log into the website right after.
Step 4: After successfully logging into the account, we will return to the main interface of the Grabify website as shown below. Here, you will have to input the URL of any image into the Enter a valid URL or tracking code field.
You can hold onto the input field and choose Paste to paste the copied link as shown in the image above.
Step 5: After adding the link of any image to the input field, we will choose Create URL to generate a new shortened link. Once this process is complete, we will copy the New URL link.
Step 6: To locate the positions of your friends on Facebook and Zalo, we will access either of these apps and send the new link to friends or family that we copied for them, as demonstrated by Mytour.vn through Facebook Messenger.
And when our friends have clicked on the link we sent, return to the Grabify website interface and select the three horizontal lines icon as shown above.
Step 7: Now, we will click on My Logs and the tracking number we just created in the process of creating a new link in step 4.
- The system will display a list of accessed IP addresses for the image you sent; we just need to copy the accessed IP address.
Step 8: Next, we will locate the positions of your friends on Facebook and Zalo through this IP address. However, you will need to continue logging in to the location search address through IP HERE.
Step 9: After successfully accessing the address, we will look for the Search icon in the top right corner of the screen and enter the IP address information that we copied.
Now, we will press the Search icon.
Step 10: Right now, the system will check the location information of the IP address we obtained. What you need to do at this point is search for the Latitude & Longitude of City section and copy the number sequence on the right.
Step 12: Finally, we will use the Google Maps app already installed on the device and press the Search icon to locate the positions of your friends.
