Galaxy Tab A9 set for an upcoming launch.According to the latest reports, the soon-to-be-released Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 will be equipped with the MediaTek Helio G99 processor. It is expected to deliver superior performance compared to the MediaTek MT8768, powering the Galaxy Tab A7.
The MediaTek Helio G99 SoC is built by TSMC using the 6nm process. The company claims it enables excellent all-day gaming, supports high resolutions, smooth streaming, and reliable global connectivity. It features two Cortex-A76 cores clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked at 2 GHz, coupled with the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.
Based on the BIS certification list, the Galaxy Tab A9 bears the model number SM-X115 and will offer 5G support, along with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and FM capabilities. Internally, the device is powered by a 5,100mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging.
