Hayri Atak Architectural Design Studio (HAADS) unveils the Eco-Floating overwater hotel design in Qatar, focusing on minimal waste and energy efficiency.
Discover the Design of Rotating Overwater Hotel
The hotel is planned to be approximately 35,000 m2 with 152 rooms, resembling a large donut with lush greenery covering the exterior. Each room comes with a private balcony, offering guests different perspectives. Additionally, the hotel is equipped with amenities such as an outdoor swimming pool, spa, and gym.

According to the project specifications shared by HAADS, the hotel generates electricity by automatically rotating its position and converting the energy of flowing water into electricity. Eco-Floating rotates very slowly to avoid dizziness and completes one rotation in 24 hours.

With its unique ability to move, the hotel will provide guests with various impressive views.

HAADS is currently conducting technical studies and feasibility assessments to materialize this design, expected by 2025.
