7. One Pillar Pagoda: The Most Unique Architectural Pagoda in Asia

After a thorough assessment for verification, on 10/10/2012 in Faridabad (India), the Asian Record Organization established the Asian record for the One Pillar Pagoda: The Most Unique Architectural Pagoda. The One Pillar Pagoda, named Diên Hựu, meaning long-lasting blessings, was built in the year of the Sửu era, Sùng Hưng Đại Bảo 1 (1049) during the reign of King Lý Thái Tông, according to the Complete Annals of Dai Viet. Over the years, the One Pillar Pagoda has undergone numerous renovations. The present pagoda was constructed in 1955, featuring a square-shaped Lotus platform, tiled roof, each side measuring 3m, four curved roofs, and four dragon-shaped heads on the corners.
