In the storyline of Genshin Impact, Skirk has been mentioned several times through Childe's narrative. She acted as Childe's mentor when he fell into the Abyss as a child, nurturing and instructing him in martial arts. It can be said that without Skirk, Childe might not have existed. This also leaves players wondering about Skirk's identity and how she managed to survive in the Abyss.
According to Childe, Skirk is an experienced warrior, incredibly powerful, and a strict 'teacher' who could defeat him with just one hand. However, Childe is confident that with his current strength, he can force Skirk to use both hands – perhaps a scenario that will unfold in the upcoming 4.2 patch.

In the pre-release leak before version 4.0, players worldwide also glimpsed the sketches miHoYo created for this character. Now, with the first images of Skirk in Genshin Impact 4.2 revealed, players have noticed her striking resemblance to Jingliu, another swordswoman recently introduced in the sibling game Honkai: Star Rail.
Additionally, Mytour has unearthed some other interesting tidbits. According to them, miHoYo has designed Skirk as a tall female character (similar to Raiden). Leakers also add that Skirk will have 'fish scales,' but we've only seen part of the character so far, so the accuracy remains to be seen.
