Although located in the city center, the food prices in alley 18A are quite reasonable. During the day, you can drop by here for breakfast or lunch as there are many eateries operating all day with dishes suitable for everyone such as grilled meat vermicelli, broken rice, fermented shrimp paste with noodles, Hue beef noodle soup... A meal with various options like braised pork with eggs, fried fish, tofu stuffed with meat... will not disappoint you.

2. Alley 76 Hai Ba Trung, District 1

Everything here is very cheap, ranging from 10,000 to 15,000 dong, and always hot, so from students, workers to office workers, everyone loves it. Besides the filling dishes for busy people, alley 76 still has some 'fun' dishes for a cozy evening chatting of Saigonese people such as mixed rice paper, sweet soup, sweet potato soup, instant noodles, rice noodles... and surprisingly, still priced at 15,000 dong! And although selling in crowded, expensive, and roadside areas, the sellers here still ensure all aspects of food safety, such as wearing gloves when processing and selling food to customers.

3. Chilled Alley 177 Ly Tu Trong, District 1
Considered the birthplace of the divine fruit salad loved by everyone, alley 177 Ly Tu Trong is an intriguing snacking spot in the city center.

With Saigon's year-round heat, the fruit salad dish never loses its cool. Perhaps that's why the fruit salad vendors snugly tuck themselves into one side of this small alley, always bustling with people sitting down to eat or buying takeaway. Stepping into this area, you'll be overwhelmed by a stretch of more than ten dumpling shops lined up next to each other, not to mention the dumpling carts hidden in the small alleys.

Even though they only serve one dish, dumplings, you'll still spend quite a bit of time ordering because there are so many enticing varieties.
