The storage capacity continued to rise, reaching 32GB and maintaining this level through Series 6, Series 7, and Series 8. This marks Series 9 as Apple's first smartwatch in the last 5 years to enhance storage capacity.

It's worth noting that only a small portion of Apple Watch storage is allocated for media such as music and podcasts, as Apple limits it to 25% of the device's total storage.
