If you have an open wound, scraped skin, or bleeding, use fresh wormwood leaves to stop the bleeding. Take a handful of fresh wormwood leaves, clean and mash them with 1/3 teaspoon of salt. This method helps regulate the menstrual cycle for those with irregular periods.
- Method 3: Boil 16g of mugwort leaves with 16g of perilla leaves and 600ml of water. Boil until the water thickens to about 100ml, then add a little sugar for easier consumption. Drink 3-4 times and remember to finish it in a day.
- Another way: You can prepare mugwort into dishes like mugwort soup with lean meat, stewed chicken with mugwort, stir-fried mugwort leaves... to make it easier to consume, reduce the strong smell, and bitter taste of mugwort leaves.
- Simple method to treat irregular menstruation with mugwort:
Take 100g of dried mugwort, brew with 1 liter of water. Boil with medium heat, when it reduces to 300ml, turn off the heat, filter and take the drinking water. Mugwort water has a bitter taste, if it's hard to drink, you can add a little sugar to make it easier. Drink twice a day, consistently from 1 week onwards, and you will see results. Along with drinking mugwort, maintain a healthy lifestyle, proper diet, avoid staying up late, relieve stress to get your menstrual cycle back to normal.

4. Treat flu, cough, sore throat, headache, and nerve pain
Take 300g of mugwort, 100g of wormwood leaves, 100g of kaffir lime leaves (or lime, lemon). Boil in 2 liters of water. Boil for 20 minutes, then inhale for 15 minutes. With this method, you can effectively cure flu and dry cough.
Additionally, you can apply another remedy: 100g of mugwort, 100g of perilla leaves, 100g of thick leaves of basil, 50g of lemongrass leaves. Boil for drinking, use continuously for 3 to 5 days, symptoms such as cough, flu, headache,... will significantly reduce.

5. Aid in Pregnancy
For pregnant women experiencing symptoms such as abdominal pain, bleeding, this remedy can help stabilize the pregnancy. The pregnancy support remedy with mugwort is applicable from the third month onwards.
Use 20g of dried mugwort, 15g of perilla leaves, brew for drinking. Divide into 2 doses/day. This remedy is very beneficial for supporting a healthy pregnancy. For pregnancies from the third month onwards, if used moderately and sensibly, mugwort does not stimulate the uterus, thus, it does not cause miscarriage or premature birth.

6. Improve Blood Circulation to the Brain
Take about 100g of mugwort leaves, wash them thoroughly. Then, finely chop the mugwort leaves, mix well with chicken egg. Add a little fish sauce, seasoning to taste. Mugwort combined with the egg yolk, seasoned for a flavorful meal. Cook the mugwort egg by frying until cooked or steaming with water and eat daily with meals.

Ingredients: 200g mugwort, 2 pears, 20g Chinese yam, 10g Chinese angelica, half of a black-feathered chicken. Prepare all the ingredients and put them in a stew pot. Stew together with 500ml of water over low heat, and you can season to taste during cooking.
Stew until it's tender, then turn off the heat. Divide into 4 to 5 portions to eat throughout the day. Use continuously for 1 to 2 weeks, and you will feel revitalized with an improved appetite.

8. Considerations when using mugwort leaves
Mugwort is highly regarded for health benefits, but excessive use may lead to intoxication. The presence of pain-relieving substances in mugwort leaves can damage the nervous system, causing excessive excitement and even seizures. Repeated incidents may lead to loss of control or partial/total paralysis.
- For pregnant women: Avoid using mugwort leaves in the first 3 months of pregnancy. High medicinal properties may cause uterine contractions and bleeding, detrimental to both mother and baby.
- The essential oil in mugwort leaves may have adverse effects on the liver, kidneys, and other complex metabolic processes if used excessively.
- For those with gastrointestinal disorders: Using mugwort leaves may reduce the effectiveness of gastrointestinal disease treatments, as mugwort has diuretic properties, promoting increased urination.
- Avoid using mugwort leaves for daily tea.
- People with blood pressure or liver issues should consult a doctor before usage.
So, mugwort leaves are beneficial for health, but should only be used in appropriate doses for treating illnesses. Best to use when there's a health issue and stop when the ailment is resolved. Consider using as a substitute for greens no more than twice a week.

9. Pain Relief: Joint Pain, Sciatica, Headache
For those frequently experiencing joint pain, sciatica, difficulty walking, etc., a simple pain relief remedy using mugwort can be applied.
- Method 1: Take 300g of mugwort leaves, wash and crush them. Add 2 teaspoons of honey, mix well. Squeeze and drink the juice. Take twice a day, at noon and in the afternoon. Drink continuously for 2 weeks for the best results.
- Method 2: Take a handful of mugwort leaves, sandwich between 2 bricks. Then, heat the mugwort leaves. Wrap the mugwort leaves with a cloth, apply to the painful joint or sciatic nerve area. If too hot, let the leaves cool slightly before applying to avoid burns. Perform daily, applying 2-3 times a day to quickly reduce pain.
- Method 3: Mugwort leaves, betel leaves, and scorpion grass, equal amounts, roast with salt. While still hot, wrap and apply to the painful area, applying once every 2 days. Persistence will effectively reduce pain.
