Not long ago, Microsoft unveiled various cloud-connected data types for Excel, first announced at the Ignite conference last September. Additionally, the company has introduced a feature called Insights, available in the Preview version rolled out to the Slow ring today.
Explore the additional features for Excel, PowerPoint, and Project in the new Office 2016 Insider Preview.
In PowerPoint, users can now utilize note-taking and hand-drawn sketches, converting them into clear text and crisp shapes.
Moving on to Outlook 2016, the application has been enhanced with a feature to read users' emails, and mark sections that users are currently reading. Additionally, users can set reminders to display on the working window or flash on the Taskbar. Finally, marking deleted items as read is also available.
Lastly, in Project 2016, users can filter primary resources and summarize tasks. Furthermore, users can set percentage scales for various columns, marking them as completed with drag-and-drop functionality. Finally, users can quickly switch between Sprint view and other modes.
All the mentioned features will be available to all users (non-Insiders) in the coming weeks. If you can't wait and want to experience the features beforehand, you can sign up for the Office 2016 Insider program by opening any Office app, then accessing File=>Account.
If your device doesn't have Office 2016 yet, check out how to install Office 2016 on your computer or laptop here to experience the latest features of this office tool.

But now, even computers are vulnerable to hacking just through the 'power cord' according to a recent study by scientists from Gurion University Negev in Israel.
