New Sports Section in Apple News
Apple has recently shifted its focus towards sports, even bidding for the rights to the English Premier League. In iOS 16.5 beta 1, the company has added a dedicated Sports tab to the Apple News app. This tab sits between the Today, News+, Audio, and Following tabs.

Sports enthusiasts can utilize this tab to access live scores of matches, sports news, scores, schedules, and standings for professional leagues. However, it's worth noting that the Sports tab is only available in regions with Apple News, including countries like the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia.
Multi-View Sports Support in the Apple TV App
While this feature isn't yet operational, the source code of the first iOS 16.5 beta update indicates that an enhanced sports viewing experience might be on its way for Apple TV app users. The company is reportedly working on the Multi-View feature. According to Steve Moser, this feature could support up to 4 live streams in a grid layout, allowing users to watch multiple games simultaneously.
Currently, the Apple TV app offers live streaming of sports events such as MLS and MLB Friday Night Basketball. Additionally, there are reports suggesting that Apple is negotiating to acquire more online sports streaming contracts in the future. The Multi-View feature could significantly enhance the overall user experience, especially for sports enthusiasts who want to follow multiple matches at once.

Beats Studio Buds+ will feature a design similar to the first-generation product, but it will come with an exclusive chip that enables features like audio sharing, automatic device switching, and Hey Siri. These features are currently only available on Apple AirPods.
