Google is currently deploying a fresh update for Maps, including a revamped Explore tab with recommendations for restaurants, cafes, and bars.

For Android users, Google will automatically check each restaurant you've visited on the trending list. Additionally, Google can predict and suggest specific places you may like if you enable the Location History feature, recommending dining spots based on your culinary preferences.
The new For You Tab now allows you to track specific nearby areas to discover trending restaurants and businesses. This tab will be rolled out in the Google Maps update for Android users in the U.S., U.K., Australia, Canada, and Japan.
The Group Planning feature enables users to plan and coordinate with friends and family in real-time to create a list of dining and entertainment spots. Though not yet deployed, users can anticipate the feature to be released by the end of this summer.
Google, the tech giant, is striving to provide users with a comprehensive Maps experience, targeting competitors like Yelp and Foursquare. The Google Maps update is being rolled out to all users and will soon appear on your devices.
