Where are SYM scooters from?
The SYM brand, also known as Sanyang Motor Co., Ltd., is part of the Chinfon conglomerate based in Taiwan. Established in 1947, initially focusing on importing components for assembly into vehicles, the company later collaborated with Japan's Honda to manufacture motorcycles, becoming Taiwan's first motorcycle manufacturer. In addition to motorcycles, the company also produces automobiles.
The reputation of the SYM brand has gradually grown, becoming well-known internationally. In 1992, SYM officially entered the Vietnamese market. Mention the SYM motorcycle brand, and most Vietnamese will be familiar with the compact and stylish Attila scooters that once dominated the streets.
