To prevent the proliferation of disposable SIM cards and mitigate the risks of impersonation and fraud, the government has mandated mobile phone subscribers to synchronize their personal information with the national database. Visit the nearest network branch for assistance with subscriber synchronization. Alternatively, employ the smartphone method outlined below to sync your subscription information with the national database from the comfort of your home.

Note: Each network will have a different app, if you use a different network, you can refer to and perform similar steps. I use Viettel network, so I will do it with the My Viettel app.
How to synchronize subscription information with the national database
Step 1: First, you need to install the My Viettel app on your phone. If you haven't downloaded it yet, you can go to the CH Play or AppStore to find the app or click on the link below to quickly access the app installation page. After installation, you open the app.

Step 2: Next, if you already have an account, log in and proceed to step 4. If not, click on Register. To register an account, enter the phone number you want to use for synchronization and then click Continue.

Step 3: Then enter the password, OTP code and click Complete. After registering, you can log in to the app. Click Login now and enter the OTP code sent to your phone number and click Confirm.

Step 4: If you already have an account and want to access the app later, when performing, click on the Login button. Next, enter 'Customer information' in the search box and select the option that appears.

Step 5: Continue to click on the 'Customer Information' section. Then, continue to edit the information and click Update. This process will be repeated until all your information is fully updated. After you finish updating, the network system will automatically save and synchronize your information with the state database.
Note: In some cases, your account may not be able to synchronize online. The reason may be that the network already has sufficient necessary information so it does not require synchronization, or your subscription contract requires direct synchronization at the store.
