Regarded as an emblem of resort tourism in Da Nang and the entire Vietnamese hotel industry, the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, invested by Sun Group and managed by InterContinental Hotel Group (IHG), is hailed as a haven destined for accolades.
Seven years ago, when the World Travel Awards (WTA) first crowned the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort as the 'World's Most Luxurious Resort,' international travel enthusiasts had to turn their gaze towards Vietnam, which was then perceived through a different lens. The 2020 World Travel Awards also recognized the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort as the 'World's Leading Environmentally Friendly Resort 2020'.
With a collection of prestigious awards in hand, the InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort has become a 'must-go' destination for the super-rich, tycoons, and even international politicians.
2. Golden Bridge (Sun World Ba Na Hills - Da Nang)
It wasn't until winning the 'World's Leading Tourist Attraction Bridge' award bestowed by the World Travel Awards 2020 that the Golden Bridge (Da Nang) truly shone on the international stage.
In reality, the 'masterpiece' of Sun Group at Sun World Ba Na Hills has left the world astonished and in awe since its inception. Global news agencies such as CNN, BBC, Reuters, National Geographic, New York Times, Time... all simultaneously mention the Golden Bridge as a symbol of unparalleled beauty.
In August 2019, the Golden Bridge was awarded the 'Special Recognition for Outstanding Project' from the Property Guru Property Vietnam Awards 2019 - a major award in the Asian real estate sector. 3. JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay (Phu Quoc)
Nestled near the enchanting Kem beach, the second masterpiece resort in Vietnam by the world-renowned architect Bill Bensley not only astonishes with its unique architecture mimicking the Lamarck University in fantasy but also earns admiration for its impressive 'hall of fame' with a collection of the world's most prestigious awards.
Just 6 months after its operation and welcoming guests, JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay was honored by WTA 2017 as the 'Best New Resort in Asia'. Meanwhile, Chanterelle - Spa by JW also excellently received the 'Most Outstanding New Luxury Spa in Southeast Asia' award at the World Luxury Spa & Restaurant Awards 2017.
