Situated just below the sea surface, the pathway linking two islands in the Diep Son group, Khanh Hoa province, is considered the most unique sea route in Vietnam.
Embark on a journey to explore the underwater pathway in Khanh Hoa
Diep Son is a cluster of 3 small islands, nestled in the waters of Van Phong Bay, Khanh Hoa province. The exploration of the islands begins from Van Gia town. After about an hour of sailing on the sea, the beautiful Diep Son archipelago gradually emerges, clearly visible against the horizon.

As the boat docks near the middle island, you can step onto the boat and begin the exciting journey to conquer the unique and thrilling underwater trail, stretching nearly 700 meters, connecting the middle island to the larger Diep Son island. The winding pathway, about 1 meter wide, lies deep beneath the crystal-clear sea, barely reaching half a meter.
Walking along this pathway evokes a thrilling mix of excitement, anticipation, and a hint of fear as you step into the vast ocean. You can enjoy watching shoals of small fish frolicking on both sides, occasionally witnessing them leap out of the water, or waving to passing boats.

Điệp Sơn Island is home to approximately 80 households, whose primary livelihood is fishing. In the evenings, the islanders rely on a power generator, with each family having only 3 hours of electricity usage per day.

After a 30-minute walk, Điệp Sơn Island welcomes you with lush greenery, deep red tiled roofs, and emerald beaches. The serene and tranquil scenery invites you to feel the cool breeze on your face, the gentle waves kissing your feet, and the vast expanse of azure sea before you. All weariness and worries seem to vanish.

Exploring the islands, visitors will be amazed by the beauty of pristine white sandy beaches, crystal-clear blue waters, and stunning fields of swaying grass.
Additionally, you can take a boat to explore the distant smaller islands. Sailing amidst the waters of Vân Phong Bay makes you feel like you're in the midst of Hạ Long Bay. You can choose to dock at a secluded island and immerse yourself in the cool, clear waters for a refreshing swim.
Điệp Sơn is a relatively unknown archipelago to many, where the untouched beauty of the azure sea and the friendly, hospitable locals still prevail.
