Top Team Comps in TFT Patch 7.5, Version 12.20b
1. The Four Dragonlords Formation
Ever since Riot Games buffed the power of the Dragonlords tribe, the 4 Dragonlords team comp has become one of the strongest in TFT. It boasts incredible defense from Idas and Terra, along with massive burst damage from Shyvana and Ao Shin.
However, players need a fairly high 'rarity' to summon the full 4 Dragonlords as the drop rates for Shyvana and Ao Shin are quite low. Players need a solid strategy to maintain health and accumulate gold in the early game, waiting until late to collect the most suitable Dragon champions.
For tankiness, Idas and Terra are the best choices with robust durability. Daeja, Sy'fen, or even Shi Oh Yu can serve as viable alternatives for Shyvana and Ao Shin to provide damage output. Sohm, Swain, or Aurelian Sol are Dragonlord champions too reliant on sub-tribes, making them unsuitable for this comp.
In addition to the Dragonlords, players need to add one more champion at level 9 to activate all the synergies in the comp. Rakan is the top choice, enabling the Celestial synergy for Idas and the Dragon synergy for Shyvana. Jayce is also suitable for triggering the Hextech synergy alongside Shyvana. Players can also flexibly activate the 4 Electric synergy if they feel lacking in damage.
2. Dragonblade Warrior Reroll Team
After several buffs, the Dragonblade Warrior team comp is thriving in the current meta. Despite the power reduction in patch 12.20b, the 'hotness' of this Kai'sa warrior comp remains unchanged.
Players can quickly gather Kai'sa with Nami and sustain health with the resilience of the Dragonblade Warriors. Karma, Sett, or Kai'sa are top-tier champions easy to find, allowing players to stay at their current level, reroll for 3-star units, and endure early-game losses to secure essential items for the mid-game comeback.
Towards late game, if players have Dragonblade Warriors, they can seek Ao Shin to complement this team comp. One-star and two-star 3-star champions cannot compare to the power of a two-star 5-cost unit. Hence, the late-game carry for the Dragonblade Warrior team needs burst damage dealers like Yasuo or Ao Shin.
3. Yone Reroll Team
Rerolling 2-star Carry champions is the current meta trend, and Yone is no exception. With the Assassin emblem and items like Infinity Edge, Rapid Firecannon, etc., a 3-star Yone deals massive damage with rapid attacks, effortlessly clearing the board with this team comp.
Without the Assassin emblem, players can activate the Blademaster synergy along with the Dragonkin tribe for early-game defense. With tank support and added physical damage from Blademasters, Yone will have the opportunity to dominate and take down opponents' champions.
Start rolling at level 6 to upgrade Yone to 3 stars and champions like Leona, Jax, Braum, etc., to build a solid team composition. Players can also flexibly include Olaf or Xayah depending on available items and tech cores to easily pivot their strategy.
4. Shi Oh Yu and Sy'fen Team Composition
The dynamic duo of Shi Oh Yu and Sy'fen continues to reign supreme in DTCL. Their lineup's strength remains steadfast in version 12.20b, requiring minimal resources and luck to secure essential champions.
In the early game, players can maintain health with Jade Dragons and Shadow Dragons to lay the foundation for mid and late-game dominance. With 5 Jade Dragons and 3 Shadow Dragons, this lineup can unleash immense AoE damage and exhibit strong resilience with 4-star champions like Jayce, Pantheon, and more.
With an exceptionally high Top placement rate, the Jade Dragons Shadow Dragons lineup remains one of the top Team Compositions in TFT Patch 7.5, version 12.20b, ideal for players aiming to climb ranks in this patch with super durable and endlessly damaging capabilities.
