Despite it being just the beginning of the year, the global gaming scene has been buzzing with the emergence of countless blockbuster names, notable masterpieces. Right in January, gamers have had the opportunity to enjoy many quality projects below.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
The Prince of Persia series makes a triumphant return. However, there are still many concerns surrounding this blockbuster, especially regarding the developers' decision to turn Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown into a 2.5D game. Nonetheless, the fact that Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown took 14 years to develop also gives fans a reason to be excited.
In reality, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown has received very positive reviews from a select group of invited gamers. The game itself has relatively light system requirements and is easily compatible with PCs. This project will be released on January 18th.
Tekken 2
Despite the decline in popularity of fighting games and their waning appeal, the Tekken franchise still commands attention. Witnessing the strong resurgence in 2023 of direct competitors like Street Fighter 6 and Mortal Kombat, the swift release of Tekken 2 in 2024 is understandable.
Tekken 2 will soon be in the hands of players on January 26th. With promises of graphics improvements based on Unreal Engine 5 technology, Tekken 2 is sure to be more enjoyable than ever before.
Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth
This is perhaps the most anticipated project in January 2024. From the outset, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth has been introduced to bring an extremely impressive storyline, especially with the return of the main character Kyryu after being absent in the previous installment. As for gameplay, the Like a Dragon series has never failed to disappoint its fans.
Furthermore, Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth will have the longest content duration in the series and even introduce an endless loop difficult to find an end to with a plethora of minigames accompanying a diverse array of side missions.
