The Nuoc Oa historical site is a cluster of 9 small relics that have been invested in and preserved on a large scale, including two original relics of great historical value, namely the relics of Party Committee Command Zone V and the relics of Zone V Committee. This is considered one of the three important revolutionary historical relic clusters in the country, alongside the historical relic clusters of Dinh Hoa (Thai Nguyen province) and the Central Southern Office historical relic (Tay Ninh province).
Through research, the role of Nuoc Oa during the resistance war was as a solid rear base and a safe haven for soldiers and officers in the process of building rear areas to fight the enemy. In particular, the Nuoc Oa historical site in Tra Tan commune was chosen by Zone V Party Committee as the brain center of Zone V battlefield.
Currently, this area has been invested in and upgraded to become a national-level historical site with 4 important categories, including the Zone V Security Memorial area, the Zone V Folk Medicine Memorial tablet area, the Zone V Farmer Memorial area, and the Nuoc Oa historical and cultural relic area. With its significant historical values, the Nuoc Oa historical site has become an attractive tourist destination in Hoi An, attracting the attention of domestic and international tourists.
