For those eager to test their swimming and diving skills deep beneath the sea, Cat Co 3 beach is the perfect choice. The water here is deep and cool, with strong waves, surrounded by majestic mountains.
All three beaches are quite famous, so tourism services are well developed. In addition to beautiful resorts nestled along the mountain slopes facing the sea, there are also various culinary services, sunbathing chair rentals, and parasol rentals available here in abundance.
Experience 'international standards' at Tung Thu beach
Tung Thu Beach on Cat Ba Island was newly opened in 2010. Being redesigned to international standards, its beauty is undeniable, and tourism services are full and diverse. Especially, this is also the only place on Cat Ba Island with an outdoor stage on the beach, designed with a unique concept.
From the town center, about 2km towards Cat Ba forest, travelers can enjoy a modern and comfortable atmosphere at Tung Thu beach.
Indulge in 'luxury' beach bathing at Cat Dua beach, Monkey Island
Cat Dua Beach stretches for about 1km on Monkey Island, which is often described as the place to truly enjoy the feeling of 'real beach bathing' with crystal clear, pristine water amidst the stunningly beautiful Lan Ha Bay.
To reach Monkey Island, travelers must take a boat from Cat Ba, about 2km away. On Monkey Island, there is also Cat Dua 2 beach, small but incredibly beautiful, serving as a spot for upscale resorts, catering to those willing to splurge for relaxation amidst marvelous nature.
Untouched nature at Van Boi beach
During the journey to Lan Ha Bay, travelers can visit Van Boi beach on a small island. The water here is quite shallow, but the natural landscape with mountains, rocks, and surrounding pristine forests is incredibly beautiful. Van Boi Beach follows the protruding part of a mountain range, with smooth white sand, clear blue water, and incredibly deserted.
