If you're a frequent user of Word for typing, chances are your account name is also the document's author. However, in some cases, you may need to change the author's name, right? So here's how to do it in Microsoft Word.
How to Edit the Author's Name in Microsoft Word Document
Step 1: Firstly, open the document you want to edit the name on > Click on File at the top left corner of the screen > Then scroll down, select Info from the top.
Step 2: Locate the Author section, then right-click on the current author's name and choose Edit Property.
Step 3: Here, simply edit the author's name as desired under Enter names or e-mail addresses and press OK to finish.
