This mode allows for the development and decoration of your castle, so here’s a brief overview of how it works:
Step 1: To access Kingdom Builder mode in Super Mario Run, tap the Build icon to reveal four tools as shown.
Shop: A store featuring decorative items and constructions with special effects.
Place: Consider this your item storage.
Move: Relocate constructions within your castle.
Put Away: Store any construction in your Place.
Step 2: Select the Shop to purchase decorations for your castle. Available categories include:
Decorations: Purely aesthetic items with limited functionality.
Buildings: Structures that unlock additional effects, such as mini-games.
Special: Unique items and structures that require a significant number of Toads to build.
Step 3: Upon your first construction, you'll be prompted to try building a structure. Click 'Get' and place it wherever you like.
Step 4: In Kingdom Builder mode, after completing any Buildings construction, you can select it to play Bonus mini-games as shown in the image below.
These games are simple; your choices lead to paths with either a bounty of Coins or nothing at all.
The games are brief, offering a quick way to gather more resources. Remember, you need to wait 8 hours to replay.
